About

20+ years behind the chair

Harbor Beauty Salon sits at the entrance to Ventura Harbor Village, on Harbor Boulevard at Spinnaker Drive — the same location that's operated for two decades, as Salon Panache, now continuing under new ownership as Harbor Beauty Salon. It's led by Dina, whose twenty-plus years behind the chair built the loyal clientele this salon carries forward. It's a home base for experienced independent stylists, and a place their clients keep coming back to. The team shares her commitment to craft, care and community.

The salon floor mid-service, stylists and clients blurred with movement

A good salon should make itself unnecessary between visits.

Low-maintenance by design — not by accident.

01Consultation First
Every appointment opens with a conversation. We would rather talk you out of something than send you home with hair you did not ask for.
02Low Maintenance by Design
Color and shape built to grow out gracefully. Your hair should not require a salon visit every four weeks to look intentional.
03Cleaner Products
Sulphate-free, cruelty-free lines throughout.
04Built to Last
Cut and color that hold up to real life, not just the day you leave the chair.

A trail of long hours and stubbornness — the ground Harbor Beauty grew out of.

2001

Behind the chair

Dina graduated cosmetology school in Santa Barbara and spent the next few years assisting — sweeping floors, staying late, practicing on mannequins before ever taking a client of her own.

2004

Ventura

She married and moved to Ventura, taking chairs at a few local salons before finding her way to Salon Panache.

2006

Salon Panache

Dina joined Salon Panache, working from the same storefront the salon still operates from today. Over the next two decades she built her client list on word of mouth alone, and grew into makeup, waxing and spray tanning along the way.

2026

Harbor Beauty opens

Salon Panache became Harbor Beauty Salon. Same chair, same clients, new name, new room. Eleven stylists, with room to grow.

2027

The treatment room

Planned

A dedicated space for scalp and bond work — quieter and dimmer, set apart from the noise of the floor. Currently in build.

2028

Teaching the next ones

Planned

A paid internship program, built to teach the way Dina learned it — properly, and with time to actually practice.
